 I got engaged the night of Feb 11th. I surprised my gf by recreating the dinner we had on our first date, which consisted of a filet mignon covered in a shallot red wine sauce, with a side of spinach mashed potatoes and roasted heirloom carrots. I also had a playlist going that had songs from bands we had seen perform live. She has been getting a lot of compliments from strangers and absolutely loves her ring.
